The publication of SCAJ Volume 4, Issue 1 is almost upon us. And for the first time ever, we want to celebrate it with you in person! It is something we have been wanting to do for a while, but have not been able to for obvious reasons. That's why we're going big for this one. It is our fifth edition and we are so proud of how far we've come and how many people have contributed to our growth. We want to bring all of those influences together for a borrel (drinks and snacks) to network, connect, chat about anthropology and writing, and - of course - to celebrate!
You're invited! This event is for everyone and anyone who is interested in SCAJ. You don't have to be a student or a contributor. Admission is free and there is no need to register beforehand - you're free to come and go as you please.
The details:
The borrel takes place in the Booth room at the University Library at Utrecht Science Park (Heidelberglaan 3), on Friday 13 May, the day Volume 4, Issue 1 is published. Doors to the room open at 15:00. Inside, you will find snacks, drinks, music, some gifts to take home, and the printed copies of our editions to flip through. The event lasts until 19:00.
